If you're keeping bags in the porch area, keep them off the ground in case you get an impromptu flooding scenario

We stayed three nights here in our tent. The shower block and toilets were really clean when we arrived but got quite dirty by the end of our stay, however we were told that it was the busiest the camp had seen for a very long while but the water pressure is shocking, sometimes the water just dribbles out and it is impossible to shower but when it is working it is ok and warm, the camp have signs up saying this is getting sorted. Keys for shower block are £5 refundable deposit.
The majority of staff were lovely only a couple let themselves down.
The childrens entertainment was fantastic the staff really made an effort in that respect. Passes to get into the family bar aswell as the pool are £6.99 per person and it lasts for the entire stay, however we were only asked to show it once.
The prices for a drink in the bar were reasonable £2.80 for house double vodka and coke. Had live entertainment on sat/sun. Bingo at 8pm both nights too. £1 a book
Had a pool although had to book a time to go in as it was too small for the amount of campers to just allow walk ins but again we were told normally you can just walk in.
The changing rooms are shabby, only 2 private cubicles and no lockers - just a basket at pool side but it wont ruin your holiday because of this.
There is a launderette where there is also a plug, (great if your in a non electric tent) there are free to use irons and boards.
The wash tokens are £3 per wash and the dryer tokens are £1 for half and hour. The washer add soap powder so no need to take your own but alot of our clothes were still dirty when we got them out.
The tent pitches are really good - even non flooding really close to toilets and showers. We were allowed bbqs and a little raised fire. The other campers were considerate, some had guitars and were singing but no yobbos at all.
We had a dog in our group and he was able to have a run.
There were animals for the children to see too.
For 17.50 per tent a night (not inc passes £6.99 pp) you cant really complain.
If you have children they will have a great time. We had a lovely stay and although the place was a bit shabby in areas overall it was great.
